Betrayed by Ednah Walters

Synopsis (from Goodreads):

Lil isn’t just an average teenager. She’s one of the Nephilim–the descendants of humans and angels–which gives her some serious psi skills and a mission for redemption. Just when Lil thinks she’s found a balance between her normal life with human friends and her training to become a Guardian, she’s warned that someone close to her will betray her. When the boy she loves starts acting strangely and one of her human friends acquires a supernatural ability, Lil begins to realize that someone is manipulating the people she loves… and won’t stop until she’s been lured to the dark side.

My thoughts: OMJB! I loved this book, Ednah Walters FREAKING DELIVERED! It was fantastic and it kept getting better from there. You know how some books have really horrible sequels that suck and are super boring? Well, this was nothing-NOTHING- like that. It was super intense as always and the plot kept on unfolding and getting better.

Hello, the synopsis? INTENSELY EPIC!

*desperately fanning myself*

OK, overall this book was simply delicious. There was sarcasm, hawt guys, and freaking magic. That is all one needs to be happy, am I right!?

Anyways, READ THIS SEQUEL! That is, if you have read the first one. This is one great series!

Awakened by Ednah Walter

I’ve had my eye on this book for a while so when I got a chance to review it, I leaped on it! Cover thoughts: Hawt guy, Shirtless. How can I NOT be happy!? Characters: Lil was awesome! She kills demons and kicks butt! Bran, despite the unfortunate name which only makes me think of healthy breakfast cereal (Raison Bran), was TOTALLY SMOKING HAWT! And he was really sweet and adorable too! Overall: This was a fast paced novel with an engrossing plot. The book had the kind of aura which just screams “READ ME!” Not only was it super awesome and all, but it was fanatically written as well. Usually when I’m reading, there’s something about the prose which makes me stop or confuses me but not with this! What I enjoyed most about the book other than the entire book itself of course, was the effortless reading. It was a quick, easy, really fun read which you could really get into. Read it and I guarantee you won’t regret it! 🙂

Recommended reads: If you liked this book I would recommend Taste by Kate Evangelista. (I TOTALLY LOVE THAT BOOK!)

Gonaa read Betrayed now and once I’m done I will do a SUPER DUBER LONG DOUBLE REVIEW ON BOTH THE BOOKS! It will be awesome. Brace yourselves 😉
